Friend, The Early Childhood Agenda was founded to address the immediate and emerging needs of parents, providers, and advocates across the Commonwealth as we navigated a global health crisis that continues to impact our local communities. Every family should have easy access to high-quality early childhood programs and services. The Early Childhood Agenda’s goal is to provide babies, toddlers, preschoolers, young children and their families with all the resources they need to grow and thrive: from child care and early learning to healthcare, housing, food, and everything in between. But we can only be successful if we can ensure that parents and professionals who work with children and families every day have a seat at decision-making tables. In the fall of 2022, over 1,000 individuals participated in the development of The Agenda. You helped us identify 10 priorities for the early childhood community! Almost a year later, The Early Childhood Agenda grows stronger and bolder. This summer, Strategies for Children launched seven workgroups to begin tackling each item on The Agenda. We’ve partnered with organizations to lead these conversations and employed a statewide facilitation structure to build consensus around policy solutions. What's Next? A few weeks ago, you received an email from us about belonging. We recognize that true progress comes from elevating the voices of those closest to the challenges.
